Tavia has truly set a benchmark for me by which I tend to judge other audiobooks, and be assured, there are a number of ab's on audible that I won't purchase simply because I can't deal with the voice. Tavia's expressiveness and general quality of narration, matches perfectly with Frost's witty and fiery style. To be quite honest, aside from some occasional mistakes here and there, it smoothes out over the first few chapters of the Night Huntress series, and by this book its kind of settled into its own feel. Its definitely not an upper crust poshy accent (by any stretch of the imagination), BUT I can't say I've never heard something similar whilst traveling about the UK. But you quickly get used to the accent and grow rather fond of Tavia's impression of Bones. Okay, Bones doesn't sound like my British ex but!Ĭhecking down in the comments, it seems like everyone's biggest sticking point, is some of the accents of the characters.
